Create your very own silver ring from scratch in this hands-on workshop where you’ll shape, design, and personalize your own one-of-a-kind piece. Whether you're adding sparkling gemstones, a twist design or monogrammed signet, or a design that’s totally you, this is your chance to turn silver clay into something seriously special.

Held in our beautiful downtown showroom, this workshop is perfect for a creative afternoon with friends or a unique party experience.

Age Recommendation: 17+

Our workshops start at $125-$150 per person with additional options to customize. This is the base price for our silver rings, additional clay or gems are extra. A non refundable deposit of $50 is required to book.

WHAT IS SILVER CLAY?

Silver clay is real silver, just in a form that feels like magic. It’s made of 99.9% fine silver and has a soft, moldable texture that lets you sculpt, carve, and shape it just like clay. Once fired, it transforms into solid silver, revealing a custom piece that’s uniquely yours.

Your Workshop Experience

In this hands-on studio experience, you’ll shape, texture, and personalize your piece with guidance throughout the process. Once your piece is fired into solid fine silver, you’ll polish your ring and leave the studio wearing something uniquely yours, a piece connected to a memory, moment, or experience.

No experience needed! We guide you through every step — just bring your creativity!

Silver clay is a soft, moldable material made from 99.9% pure silver. Once fired, it transforms into solid fine silver, ready to polish and wear.

Absolutely! Choose from our customizable studio designs or make creative choices to make your piece uniquely yours.

Our silver ring workshops range from $125-$150 based on the design, with additional customizable options.

A non refundable deposit of $50 is required to book your spot, and will go towards the final cost of your ring.

The workshop takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

Not all types of gemstones can withstand the heat from the kiln and they may break or change colour. We have a selection of high quality cubic zirconias in many shapes and colours. We recommend using our stones as they are all fireable and tested to withstand the firing in the kiln.

Workshop Policy & Jewelry Care

Refund Policy

All workshop bookings are final sale. Because this is a hands-on DIY experience, refunds cannot be issued once the class has started.

Our instructors will guide you throughout the process, but as each piece is individually made by participants, we cannot guarantee a perfect final result. Slight imperfections are part of the handmade nature of the experience.

Workshop Participation

Due to limited seating and safety requirements, only registered participants are permitted in the studio and workshop space during classes. Please arrive on time, as classes begin promptly. Missing the start of the workshop may affect your ability to complete your project.

Jewelry Care

Your ring is made from genuine silver, which is naturally softer than other metals and should be handled with care.

Because each piece is self-made during the workshop, we cannot offer refunds, replacements, or repairs for rings damaged after class. Normal wear, bending, scratches, tarnishing, or breakage are not covered.

Safety & Liability

Participant safety is extremely important to us. All tools and materials are demonstrated with guided instruction during the workshop. By participating, guests acknowledge that Silver Studio Winnipeg is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the class experience.
